My style is non-traditional, relaxed, and natural. Capturing your child's unique personality is key. They aren't always smiling or looking directly at my camera, but that is what makes them different from studio portraits.
Studio portraits with bright lights, unfamiliar surroundings and props can be scary for children. Therefore, you may not be able to get a glimpse of their true personality. I prefer to come into your child's space and let them get comfortable with my presence.
I also love to do outdoor shoots at nearby parks, or a location of your choice. Almost always count on any outdoor appointments to be late in the day, when the light is less harsh.
For family portraits I may set up the scene for the shoot, but you won't catch me tilting your head
or posing you. I use only natural, ambient light, so an occasional adjustment of furniture or shades is
sometimes needed.
